Okay, I have written several blogs on college football and on the playoffs.

USC's loss showed once again that no team is safe this year.  Now we have USF who are ranked number five.  I assume because they won one big game and a weak schedule makes them have a real shot at the gold.  If California wins out; we will probally see LSU and Cal play.  I do have to believe they will have a hard time beating Florida twice; if they play in the SEC Championship. 

I guess we should all sit back and just enjoy the games and season.  It does make one mad to see teams that play such weak schedules rise to the top and teams who have strong schedules fall and have a difficult shot at the title.

If I had to pick the two teams now I would go with LSU vs. Ohio State.  With their schedules they could easily play each other for the title.  Ohio State is a decent team but LSU will give them the same treatment they got last year from Florida.

Of course every week now a team we think is strong; they show us we were very wrong.  When K-State crushed a team and then loses to Kansas; anything is possible this year.  USC losing was a shock but it reminded us where they really are as a team.  Kansas is now 5-0 and if you think they are a title team; wake-up.  I do have to agree with the rankings now a team that plays a soft schedule and one or two real teams; can actually have a shot.  I would as a AD schedule all joke teams and then find a top 5 team and hope I can upset them.  If you are in a weak conference; why would you want playoffs when you see USF ranked 5?

I guess we can all hope for the playoffs but we all know it is about control and all we can do is be loyal to our teams and hope a real team gets a break and shot at the title game.  The days of two strong teams fighting it out for the title is over for most years.  We may get a break every once in awhile but it will be rare.
