Nothing like heading into the bye week on a shutout. The Steelers 21-0 win over the Seattle Seahawks was dominance from start-to-finish. The most impressive thing to remember is that it was an injury-depleted squad that played solid Steeler football on a day when the team honored the only NFL coach to win four Super Bowls, Chuck Noll.
The offense was steady throughout setting the tone with a strong running game, balanced by an efficient passing attack. Ben Roethlisberger was sharp and what made him more impressive is that he performed brilliantly without his starting receivers, Hines Ward and Santonio Holmes, who were out with injuries.
The defense overcame even more. In pitching the shutout, the "Blitzburgh D" played without key performers in Pro Bowlers SS Troy Polamalu and NT Casey Hampton, as well as up-and-coming CB Bryant McFadden. It completely took the Seahawks out of the game.
With the bye week now to heal, it will be fun to see how the 4-1 Steelers come out of the break at Denver.

No doubt!! I think it would be a good idea to rotate these guys more. We might take the Colts and/or Patriots by surprise.
