I know, I know, I have not been on here for a while. But there is a good reason for this. I discovered life. I have been enjoying my senior year, and resorting to typing crap on a computer is not the way I want to spend my final year of high school. I know I am one of the best bloggers on this site, period. But for now, I am hanging up my keyboard. I may return later, I don't know. But for now there are many better things to be doing with my time.
Anyway, I think the announcement that Jake Delhomme is out for the season could very well derail the Panthers season. David Carr is accurate and mobil, but he is afraid to unleash the tough passes, and does not have the gunslinger mentality that Jake has. The defense has not stepped up, either. The fact that Carolina is now looking at Tim Rattay, Drew Bledsoe, and Vinny Testeverde spells doom as well. I hope the 3-2 Panthers stay in the race. But right now, things are looking doubtful. I think Matt Moore should start, and what the hell happened to Brett Basanez. Those are better options than Carr. Carr is this decade's Ryan Leaf, and we have seen that. Right now, things look bleak.
