I don't think you should have dropped Purdue out for that loss to Ohio state. Once Spack decided to bring pressure in the second quarter Purdue's D outplayed Ohio states O. For 3 quarters of hard fought football (9-7) they played with your number 1 team and they get dropped out? Also, somebody needs to tell Beckman that throwing jump balls is not a good strategy. Wisconnsin at 12 is also a stretch considering their body of work (especially because Michigan State lost to Northwestern)

Thats exactly why I like it, anything with OSU being #1 I'll like, it may not be realistic, but I like it.

WTF? YOU NEED TO START WATCHING FOOTBALL AND NOT PLAYING FAVORITES! DIDN'T YOU LEARN LAST YEAR WHAT KIND OF POWER HOUSE OHIO STATE IS (OR ISN'T). BEING THE BEST IN THE BIG TEN EQUATES TO MAYBE A TOP 5 RANKING. THEY'LL LOSE 2 BEFORE THE YAER IS OVER ANYWAY.

Enough with the fn caps! It just shows how horrible you are at communicating. You're not making anymore of a point. Words and sentences make valid points not CAPS and ignorant, unfounded rants.

OSU has yet to prove anything, in reality. How can you put Ohio State above a LSU team that struggled against Florida only to show the gumption to pull it out? But then, OSU beat Purdue. Huge comparison there (is the sarcasm button on this thing working?). And to the Nub who said South Carolina to a National Championship game; we have a great team this year. But it's not national championship quality. Even at 12-1 (yeah, huge speculation that my Gamecocks could beat LSU, but then, no one wants to play Spurrier's team after he has a whole year's worth of tapes to look at) winning against a National Championship team like Well, uhm... LSU seems to be the only REAL contender at this point (unless Kentucky wins out, beating LSU, FLA, TENN, and GA then they have an outside shot (even though they wouldn't play the conference championship game).
Infact, that would be a great advocate for a playoff system, as if Kentucky beats all those teams, and finishes 11-1, they'd have to be Top 5, and considered for the NC game. All in all, the Top 20 looks ok, except that OSU is #1
