Who says there no passion for a college football team that went 4-19 two seasons ago. Now the Illini are ranked and now starting to get the respect they deserve. I knew all of of the Illini fans would get to see a great team play like they are seeing after winning versus two straight games against ranked teams. This year the Illini are surging and ready for anyone. This year we are getting the stadium remodeled and it looks like it could be one of the best out there soon. Right behind where you see Zuppke Field sign in the picture will be a state of the art weight room. I know some people have said Zook is a terrible coach but you know what most of that National Championship team was recruited by Zook at Florida. Now he is showing everyone that he is a great coach not just a great recruiter. Also, I have heard his name come up with using illegal actions when recruiting. Like when Benn decided to go to Illinois. You need to get your facts straight. Benn came to Illinois becuase his best friend Vontae Davis (Vernon Davis brother). These two have been best friends since 5th grade. Last I knew its not illegal to go to a school with your bestfriend. The goal is to make it to a bowl this year and they are well on their way to making their dream a reality. GO ILLINI!!!
Fun Fact: Something overrlooked on this team is the NFL Genes players on the Illini have like Vontae Davis, Will Judson, and Justin Sanders.
