I'm a little late myself because I had to be hospitalized from the shock I suffered Monday night witnessing one of the most bizzare football games I have ever seen.

Looking at it impartially, the Bills are 1-4 and most Bills' fans will say they should be 3-2 because of the Denver and Dallas games they let slip away, but I would say their record reflects the quality of play. They were lucky to be competitive against Denver and were completely non-competitive against Pittsburgh and New England. After the home win against the Jets, the Bills again were lucky to be in the game only because of their defense and some ill-advised throws by Tony Romo. Their offense was asleep all night.

Even still...despite the futility of the offense, there is no excuse for letting that game get away. As lucky as the Bills were to be in the game, the Cowboys were 10 times as lucky to not only be in the game, but to somehow come out with a win.

The locker room was noticeably more frustrated and angry than in the past losses. If they had won, I would say the bye week was coming at the worst time because they had the momentum and should want to go right back out there and play. Now that they coughed it up, this is the perfect time to sit back, relax and enjoy the time off and clear their minds. There will be plenty of storylines not related to the Monday night loss to talk about to keep them busy. You have Losman vs. Edwards and McGahee's return.

As for the QB situation, my money says Losman starts against the Ravens (he practiced Wednesday), but Jauron has a very quick hook. Edwards is going to be a nice player, but he has yet to show if he could make a big play in a big spot and throw the ball down the field with any success. Part of that could be Fairchild and Jauron keeping a tight leash on Edwards, but either way, we have yet to see Edwards try to rip one deep to one of the receivers. Edwards is incredibly accurate, but it has been on mostly short throws and dump offs.

Quick question....Does Lee Evans still play for the Buffalo Bills?

Edwards is just as good as Losman, who by the way cant throw the ball downfield with any accuracy either.
