Someone needs to explain this one to me. Tony LaRussa's contract with the Cardinals is over. According to the StL Post Dispatch, the Cardinals are waiting to see if LaRussa decides to grace them with his presence for one more year. And, they are acting like they're being supremely put out by having to wait. THEY DON'T HAVE TO WAIT! Just hire a new manager! Why are you waiting around for a guy that technically does not work for you anymore? This is just ridiculous. Let the idiot go and promote Jose Oquendo. And, as with McGwire, once he's not wearing the uniform, LaStupid will move back to California, fondle his precious dogs, and we'll never see him in StL again.
