Not much reason for hope here for UK fans except that the game's at home, not that UK ever gets any breaks there, either. LSU now has the longest winning streak in the country, 13 games. Since the LSU debacle last year, the Wildcats are 10-2; 7-0 at home. Not counting Bill Curry (ugh!) and Hal Mumme years, UK is 2-7 all-time versus #1 teams.

It looks like Rafael Little probably won't be able to play, so UK will have to try to establish a running game with Tony Dixon, a less-than-100% Alfonso Smith, and freshmen Derrick Locke and Moncel Allen. If anyone fumbles, forget it. With LSU's front 4, UK will probably have to get some yards on the ground first so they can try some play-action fakes and screens. Maybe some draws. They'll have to keep Dorsey off of Andre Woodson to have any chance of winning the game.

Can this crazy season of upsets continue for at least one more week? Sagarin and the opening line both had LSU by about 11 1/2, but the line dropped right away to 9 1/2, a very good sign for UK, and 9 1/2 sounds a whole lot more beatable than 11 1/2 somehow. The head says LSU by 13, but the heart can't pick the tiggers. . . From the defender of the (Wildcat) faith in the river city, make it UK 33, LSU 31.

Its possible. UK has played a lot of tough SEC games in the past couple seasons and this season they are looking better than I have seen them in years. I dont know if I would go as far as to pick UK to win this game but I wouldn't be surprised if it ended up a lot closer than people think with a possible UK upset.

We have a shot, but we can't commit turnovers like against South Carolina, and the running game doesn't have to be great, but it needs to be there somewhat, if we drop back to pass every play, we are toast. Is Doucet gonna play, if not, their offense isn't the most explosive, we got a shot.
