A report from Detnews.com says that Lebron James wants a coach that played in the NBA.

With Avery Johnson going to the NJ Nets that would seemingly vault Byron Scott right to the top of the list.

But what about other coaches?

Former NY Knicks player Mark Jackson would have to considered and if the Lakers don't want to pay him what about former NY Knick Phil Jackson?

Some long shots might be the Detroit Pistons Bill Lambier who is an assistant coach with the Minnesota Timberwolves and did coach the WNBA's Detroit Shock to two championships.

Michael Cooper another former Laker who has worked in the NBA as an assistant coach, coached the WNBA's LA Sparks to two championships and now currently coaches the women's team at USC.

A real long shot might be Isiah Thomas who has won two championships as a player and has had two coaching stints in the NBA. He is currently coaching at FIU.
Can you think of any other coaches who fit the bill?
