OK, I'm writing this, the gophers are tied 0-0 with about 10 min. left in the first period, and thinking to myself, I just had to LOOK UP the school theyre playing, who just scored to make it 1-0, Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute is the name, apparently they are the 33rd best team in the country, but it would still be a major upset if they were to pull this off. The Gophs are technically playing on a "neutral" surface, but the X isn't far from campus, so if they lose this game, their season is basically over after the first game, even if they would beat BC tomorrow.
Other things on my mind....
Wow, the Vikings are the definition of putrid, no offense to Dolphins fans. Tarvaris Jackson is not capable of being a starter in this league (yet) and Kelly Holcomb is like Brad Johnson last year. (He won't absolutely self-destruct and make you lose though)
Hawaii is up 7-0 over SJSU. Hawaii in my opinion is one of the most overrated college football teams in this season. Who have they played? They haven't played BSU yet, apparently the best team they've played was La. Tech, (Who!?!), as its the only team they've had trouble with.
Wow, Good ol' Carsten Charles did not have the best night ever, 8 ER in 4 1/3 innings.
Scott Boras is crazy, 12 years and 360 Million for a 32 year old guy? Name one team besides the Yankees who will do that....
