The BCS is on its ear now with the Kentucky upset of LSU. You cannot convince me that there is a better team than LSU in the country and that includes Ohio State. Cal is strong and if it goes undefeated in the brutal Pac-10, they deserve a shot at the title. There is a huge dropoff from the SEC and Pac-10 to the rest of the FBS conferences.
The Bengal Tigers loses in triple over time 43-37 at Kentucky. LSU really misses Early Doucet. How many drops by Brandon LaFell the last two weeks? Jacob Hester is a beast. I hope the Steelers have him playing on Sundays in a few years. Hats off to UK bouncing back after a tough road loss to South Carolina. I really like the Derrick Locke kid for UK.
Other games.....
Tennessee performed admirably with a 33-21 win at Mississippi State in a classic "trap" game. A road game after a huge win over UGa and a week before the rivalry matchup with Alabama, played when God intended (the third weekend in Oct). UT ran for 227 with Arian Foster shining with 22 carries for 140 yards and a touchdown. The best Vol teams always (ALWAYS) run the ball well.
Penn State rolled 38-7 over a very over-rated (19) Wisconsin squad. Going into last week, the Badgers were in the top five, good luck being ranked after the shellacking in Happy Valley.
Texas Tech torched Texas A&M 35-7 in Lubbock. Coach Fran may be open to give betting advice after the season. The Aggies are 5-2 but have not beaten anyone other than Oklahoma State. With games at Nebraska, Oklahoma and Missouri to with home games with Kansas and Texas, there is a bit of gauntlet to run.
Notre Dame is getting better, even with the home loss to Boston College, 27-14. The Irish have a long way to go before I type Fighting again in the name. But they are getting closer.
What's up with USC coming back for a 20-13 home win over an unimpressive Arizona squad. The shine is coming of Pete's halo.
Wish I could say you'll hear more from me later, but it ain't happening. Vandy leads UGa 17-7 at the half....I could go on all night.
Gotta live life sometime folks. If the night is anything like the afternoon, plenty of good football left to watch. It's why they made Sports Bars.

LSU threw that game away.
Our Defense played like a bunch of pop warner sissies, having a True Freshman run all over us and losing 400 yards to a team that lost to a team we beat. Our defensive backfield was a pile of S@%t. We lose Doucet and all of the sudden our recieving is God Awful. And way, waay too many penalties. So much for the season, guys. We fell just like the rest.

- Come on now. LSU is a great team, no doubt. But they are not the best team. The last two weeks have been quite shaky for the Tigers. Then again, who the heck is the nation's best team? I'm a USC fan and it sure in hell isn't the Trojans. The BCS dorks have a tough morning tomorrow to sort this mess out.

There is still a lot of time before the BCS has to worry about things. Plenty of time for upsets and losses. Teams like LSU, Cal and USC have plenty of time to make up ground. One loss by USF and it's out. Ohio State is in the driver's seat.
