Now that we have seen Kentucky light up a defense that was supposed to be one of the best.. who is the team that has the best chance at the gold?

Kentucky- their loss to South Carolina was huge but we could have a two loss team win the title this year.  It probally will not happen for them but they are a good team and fun to watch,  The coach has to be a strong choice for coach of the year. Clearly losing to Florida put them on the outside of the race.

South Carolina- Spurrier has worked his magic again and the show down with the gators could be the factor in an SEC title and a shot at the big game.  I do not believe this team is one of the best, but this coach has proven he can take an average team and create miracles.  The loss on Saturday ended their NC hopes...

USC- I do believe they were and are over rated but this is a good coach with a weak schedule.  They may make a late run and they do have a shot at the title.

Ohio State- The game at Michigan will be huge but the RB better be healthy or they will destroy Michigan.  This team plays a weak schedule but every week their defense gets better.  They have the best shot at the big game right now.

USF- Are you kidding me?  The only have one team in their pathetic schedule that could beat them now.  They will need all teams to have at least one if not two loses to have a shot at the big game.  Their schedule is too weak for the BCS, but you never know...The loss to RU ended their shot and brought them to reality.

Cal- They have to beat USC and hope for some help.  They are still in the mix but unlikely that they will have a shot at the title.  The loss Saturday ended theur NC hopes.. they will lose at least one more game.

Oklahoma- The win against a good Missouri team put them back in the hunt.  They could easily run the tables and play in the big game.

Missouri- The loss to Oklahoma was bad but they still could win their conference; no shot at the title now.

Kansas- Uh no... They have a great record but they have played no one.  The game against Missouri will at least show how good they are.  They are a decent team but no where near a title team.

LSU- They could still run the tables and win the SEC.  If that happens; they could easily return on top and have a shot at the title.  The win Saturday putb them right back in the race... welcome back!

Florida- They still have an ouitside shot.  The win against Kentucky put them in the race and if they run the table and beat LSU... Do not count this team out.

Yes.  It has been a crazy year.  It has shown we need playoffs but it has been fun to watch so many good teams fall.  It seems now that several schools are learning how to win and they are not worried about high ranked BCS teams.  It is the wild west and on any day.. a team could lose.

If I had to pick this week it would be Oklahoma and Ohio State.  Nothing is safe and consistent this year.. I am sure it will change.

It is great to be a football fan!  I do think it is very likely a two loss team could win the title..
