Knicks, Knicks, Knicks. Who do the Knicks get in free agency? Lebron? Dwayne? Chris Bosh?  Nope, nope, and nope.

Lebron's gonna either resign with the Cavs if he's a good guy, or go to Miami because he and Dwayne can dominate the east coast together.  Chris Bosh has never carried a team, he scores points and gets rebounds, but he is not a leader, or a guy that makes the team better. That is evidenced in the first round losses and barely making the playoffs in a sorry Atlantic Conference.

As a Knicks fan, I don't particularly want any of these guys.  While I am a fan of Dwayne and Lebron, I think they would be doing more of a service to basketball to stay on their current teams.  Even if you love the Knicks as I do, you don't want to see one or two people be bigger than the team is.

If you transposed the roster of the Lakers and the Knicks and the Knicks won a championship next year, would you be satisfied? Would it feel like the Knicks won a championship, or a mercenary unit of non Knicks players.  Thats what this free agency feels like.  Not adding a guy to a team, but buying a team, and calling it the NY KNICKS.

 I'd rather see this roster:

PG  Tony Douglass, Sergio Rodriguez, Andy Rautins

SG  Bill Walker,  Landry Fields

 PF  David Lee

C   Eddy Curry, Jerome Jordan

If they get free agents, I'd like to see them resign David Lee, because he is the best PF out of the bunch. He's home grown talent, and he's still getting better.

Free agency should be used to augment this team, not buy another team.  If I were them, I'd take a shot at some veteran players at PG, PF, and Center. Keep the cap space, build with the team you have.
