Here we go again ...

For many years now Redskins fans have annually been promised a trip to the superbowl as the team is re-stocked with high priced free agents or veteran pick-ups to get them over the top.

In reality, it's more like Frankenstein's monter or the serial killer in the movie Seven as Snyder and his highly paid assistants choose their roster and put together a 'team', and in their demented minds it is a thing of beauty. However, unable to realise their own delusions, they've created an abomination that will remembered for reasons far different to what they envisaged.

The Haynesworth debacle is just the latest example, but there is more to come. On offense the team now has two ageing RBs, veterans at WR and no depth, and a senior citizen at QB. Who will be playing on offense in 2012?

This is an experiment that should never have been allowed to continue after the Bruce Smith, Dion Sanders years, and I can only hope that Snyder has the good grace to quietly exit via the back door and keep whatever remains of his dignity for his next pursuit.
