Before the season started, while looking at the schedule, this matchup looked like a possible NFC Championship game preview. Unfortunately the Eagles have been slow out of the gate, and defensive injuries have prevented the Bears from relying completely on there defense. Now instead of a battle of 2 of the top NFC teams, it has become a battle between 2 teams looking to get back into the playoff picture.
For the Eagles, offensively it will all come down to the line play, if they can give McNabb time, he should be successful. The Bears are quick defensively, but are banged up and with time McNabb will be able to go deep to Curtis and over the middle to Brown. Once that starts happening then Westbrook can get rolling.
Defensively it looks like both Lito and Dawkins could be back in the lineup. Griese has been able to put up some points the last few weeks, but he has also turned the ball over too often. The Eagles will be getting pressure on the QB and force him into some bad decisions. The defense could be the difference this week.
