I was reading a article where Elliot needs to try somewhere else. Jeff Burton and Jamie MacMurray went threw the same time when fans thought they were washed up. They went to another teams as hasbeens and remade themselves.
I am not sure I can personally can place Elliot in the same mold as Jeff and Jamie. Personly I thought they were not bad racers to start with so going to another team and seeing if they just needed a change of scenery to make their careers better than than I had I can under stand.
Elliot has already been on 2 teams and has done nothing in my eyes so far and had to go as far as to sure his team for trying to get rid of him
I could be wrong and just maybe Elliot needs a try at a better team because we know worse drivers got more chances at better teams.
Casey Mears for one in my eyes got 2 more tries than he was worth. He got a Hendrick ride and lasted longer than he deserved. Then went to RCR for some unknown reason. And got another try with Red Bull.
But I know I was wrong with the other Red Bull driver Brian Vickers. I thought he was toast and before he got blood clots in his legs he looked halfway decent.
Does Elliot Sadler deserve another chance?

The thing with Sadler now, is that he is inconsistent......he runs good sometimes but too many times he finishes poorly or not at all....I like the guy but if I were a sponsor I would pass him by.

This past week even thou he got crashed out he showed something I am not sure he showed before.

As pond has said, there isn't much depth in NASCAR now. Whether it's due to drivers or teams. F1 is going to a qualifying system that will thin out the backmarkers. Maybe NASCAR needs to do the same and maybe cut the field down to 30 or 35 instead of 45 starters. That would also eliminate the start & parks.

Sad but true. Qualifications now seem to merely determine your pit stall, and making deals with a start and park team so you end up with an open stall in front or behind you.

It's a shame, there for a while I thought Saddler was the future star of the sport. I like how Jamie Mac is coming on, I really like the guy. I'm hoping that he is finally going to live up to the expectations people had when he had a win in his second start. NASCAR needs a hero to break out. A guy EVERYONE can root for.

Said it before I will rant again. SPORTS CELEBRITIES SHOULD NOT BE CONSIDERED HEROES! Period. They are a popular celebrity. Did they save their comrades in battle? Face their own death to assist others in peril? BS.
And to even mention Logano in the same breath as "hero" is sacrilegious and insulting to all those who have truly earned Hero status.
Just my opinion, but a sore subject with me.

Race car driver give me a break and especially not a snot nosed punk who just started racing who did not earn they celebrity status that he has now.
He is riding Tony Stewart's coattails for Home Depot.
Tony earned all that publicity by his driving and Joey and Gibbs racing are riding it to the bank
