The Iowa City Press/Citizen announced the signing of a juco guard recently. Jermain Davis of Minnesota is reported to be on his way to Iowa City. Davis is a 6-4, 220 lb guard with excellent athleticism. Another good signing for the Hawks and new coach Todd Lickliter. I love the way he is recruiting to his system and also the quality of the kids he's after.
I'm tired of reading about arrest records, that's for sure. Davis had verbally committed to Northern Iowa but has recinded that veral committment to sign with the Hawks. Is that a sign of character issues? Let's hope not.
