Ok, first I'm going to take care of some things and then get to buisness.
The pianometer. Joey Harrington was sacked four times in the game last Monday. I watched. But do you want to know why? It's because they started two rookie offensive linemen. The Giants defense couldn't have asked for a more wonderful opportunity. If you watch film of the sacks, you'll see that once the defensive linemen got into the pocket, there was no where for Joey to scramble and they were grabbing his arm so he couldn't throw. That's why he was sacked. Not because Joey's bad, no way! But Bobby Petrino decided to start Byron Leftwich. So although Joey has lost the starting spot he'll get it back in a few weeks. The Saints defense may decide to put up a fight and that could show that Leftwich is just as bad as Joey, as we saw in the Tennesse game. Or the 49ers could do it, or the Panthers, or the Bucs... So I'll give Joey a two this week.
Lets just get my picks out of the way. I'm gonna go with...
Cinncinnati over Pittsburgh
Missouri over Texas Tech
Kentucky over Florida
Cal over UCLA
Ohio State over Michigan State
LSU over Auburn
FSU over Miami
Michigan, who is finally back in the rankings now, upsets Illinois
Colorado upsets Kansas
Alabama upsets Tennesse
Last week - 7-3, Season - 11-9
Last night, the undefeated University of South Florida lost to Rutgers. They will not be the last. The remaining undefeateds are Ohio State, Boston College, Arizona State, Hawaii, Kansas, and I predict that before the bowls, all of them shall fall once. At least. I've already said above that I think Kansas will fall this week, but it will not be long before the others do as well. Ohio State will fall to either Penn State next week or to Michigan in the season finale. After last week, I realized that there is no way Hawaii will remain undefeated. I was in a TD about that very topic, and I didn't want to forfeit, but I knew it to be true. Arizona State, well, they play Cal, Oregon, UCLA, and USC in the next four weeks. Let's face it. They're going down. And I'm going to have to go with an upset of VT over BC next week.
Hey, it's the year of the upset, if any time is good for this, it would certainly be now.
