So...where to begin...

So South Florida lost last night, they are still a top 10 team this year, but ONLY this year. Any other year, they should be dropped from the polls instantly, but with the major amount of upsets this year, and how far USC fell after losing to STANFORD, USF should be highest #6, lowest #11. Face it, Rutgers is not a bad team, and this was in Piscataway. USC loses in the Coliseum, they get dropped to what, 15? I can't remember. If USF is lower than 15 next week in the AP poll, then the AP poll should be completely discounted.

The NFL should be following the NBA's example if they want to globalize. Send the PRESEASON games overseas. No one here cares about them anyway, so it would be a good way to spread the brand and save us from the most boring four weeks of football. Don't go big time right away. Sending the Super Bowl over there so soon would probably end up with the first non-sold out SB in forever. Start small, grow bigger, and eventually, there might be enough fan support to justify the Super Bowl in London.

If A-Rod get 300 Million+ dollars from someone this free agency, and Scott Boras is upset because he got paid too little, Boras should be shot. Think about it, A-Rod is the highest paid baseball player in history, and for good reason, but 300 million and 10+ years is obscene. The guy is 32, even today, he only has about 6-8 GOOD years left. Any team that pays him that will just be hurting their team more than helping it.

Joe Torre made the right decision. Its better that he went out on his own terms than signing that contract and getting fired halfway through the year. Now, if he wants, he has a chance to go and find a new job without the intense pressure.
