Now because i live in Australia i've never been to Shea, but one of my lifetime goals was to see a mets game there. now that it's gonna be torn down i've either got to get a bunch of money and see a game in 08, or see a game at citi feild. Is anyone else as pissed of as me? why do the mets even need a new ground? what's wrong with SHEA?? it's the histroy i care about not some new stae of the art stadium. i say we start a petition to stop them moving the mets to SHEA (even though i know it's not gonna work).

Shea, to me anyway, seems kind of like a dump. I'm going to Yankee Stadium next year before it closes without a doubt though.

For the record, it IS a dump!!! (Or it was 70-some years ago, before the 1939 World's Fair...and then the '64 World's Fair) RIGHT IN the flight path of LaGuardia Airport...yeah, GREAT place for a ballpark!!!
