1. Ohio State

Lower:  Some people question the schedule of Ohio State but next week should tell alot about the Buckeyes as they travel to Happy Valley.

2. Oklahoma

Higher:  The Sooners have had some pretty good wins over Texas and Mizzou.

Lower:  OU is yet to prove itself on the road with a loss @Colorado and barely winning against lowly Iowa State.

3. West Virginia

Higher: Only loss so far is @S. Florida which isn't something to be too ashamed of.  They dominated Mississippi St. this week and look very dangerous.

Lower:  S. Florida just lost @unranked Rutgers which drops makes the loss to S. Florida look a little bit worse.

4. LSU

Higher:  Found a way to beat a good Auburn team and their only loss is to Kentucky.

Lower:  Lost to Kentucky isn't looking quite as good with their loss to Florida...

5. Boston College

Higher:  They are undefeated but only have one maybe two good wins.

Lower:  The Eagles beat Notre Dame by 14 while USC beat them by 38....we will see this week when they play Va Tech

6. Oregon

Higher:  The Ducks just beat a decent Washington team 55-34 and they beat Michigan by 32 @ Michigan

Lower:  Oregon got beat by South Carolina.  South Carolina got beat by Vandy this week...

7. Missouri

Higher:  Only loss is @Oklahoma where Stoops is 51-2, and they only lost by 10.  Aside from this, the Tigers have dominated opponents and just held the number one offense, Texas Tech to 10 points.

Lower:  A loss is a loss and they did lose to Oklahoma...

8. Arizona State

Higher:  They are undefeated and has beat down opponents aside from Washington St.

Lower:  Haven't had much of a challenge yet, I am not convinced that they are for real, but they can prove it in the coming weeks with Cal and @Oregon.

9: South Florida

Higher:  The Bulls have beaten West Virginia and @Auburn.  These are very good wins and we will see if they can bounce back this week @Uconn

Lower:  They lost @ an unranked Rutgers team...

10. Virginia Tech

Higher:  Only loss is @LSU and they have a good win @Clemson.

Lower:  The loss to LSU was by 41, but we will see if they have improved this weekend when they face BC.

Kansas has to be on here somewhere. They might win the Big XII. It isn't like Oklahoma has played anyone either.

OK let's compare schedules. Kansas's:
Central Michigan
Southeastern Louisiana(pretty sure that they aren't even D-1)
Toledo
Florida International(one of the worst team's no joke)
all of these were non-conference and all of them were @Kansas
@K-State(this is their toughest game...ummm...wow, that's really not good)
Baylor(worst Big 12 team possibly)
@Colorado(I realize Oklahoma lost to them but they were dominating and just fell apart)

Now here is Oklahoma's schedule:
North Texas
Miami(they are having a down year but they are still miami they have some pretty good athletes)
Utah State
@Tulsa
there is OU's nonconference, they actually played out of their home state, quite a concept for Kansas fans)
@Colorado
Texas(neutral site)
Missouri(very good Mizzou team in my opinion, this is a great win for OU.)
@Iowa State

Oklahoma went out of their state 4 times, Kansas has once...
Oklahoma has beat 2 top 20 teams: Mizzou and Texas, Kansas has no currently ranked teams on their schedule.....

And there is no way Kansas wins the Big 12. Even if they somehow win the North they will get DESTROYED by Oklahoma, no contest.

I would say that Kansas State is not that far behind Texas. Two straight wins right now? Kansas has obviously performed better by not losing. Miami is awful, as we've seen. Missouri is the big win that sets them apart. Of course, I hate the Big XII, so I only consider Oklahoma and Kansas the teams to pay attention too.

Overall, it's about right. I still like Kansas and their defense this year.

Just watch this weekend we will see if KU is for real. They go to college station to take on texas a&m. If KU beats them by 10 or more i will give them more respect. If they lose which i think they will, then they won't even be top 20 to me. If Kansas had Mizzou's schedule, they would be lucky to be .500
