With this week's regular season NFL game at Wembley, I

thought this to be a good time for my first post. I had

contemplated the Yankees' early exit as a nice start but

since everyone's opinion has already been voiced and

dispersed, I'm going to let sleeping dogs lie for now.

There will be much news out of Yankee camp the coming

weeks, I can hear the press-mutts salivating already.

The Giants' resurgence has been a real uplift after all this

baseball drama. After seeing them play those two lousy

defensive games against Dallas and Green Bay, I thought

they were readyfor the scrapheap. The Giants really only

need to do two things to win a football game: play good

defense and for Eli to have a decent (not a good) game

with little turnovers. Of course everyone said 'they can't

replace Tiki, Coughlin's losing it, Strahan's only in it for

the money, they can't run, they can't pass, they can't

defend' and yet five weeks later they're on the verge of

being where they were last year, 6-2.

Let's face it. The only way the Giants lose this game is if

they beat themselves. Which makes the fact that I can't

go see the game in London even more depressing.

Don't assume European NFL fans know less about the

game than Americans. We get Total Access, NFL

Primetime and Gameday jammed down our throats every

day just like you. We too see four live games a week,

know every player and hate those f*cking commercial

breaks every five minutes.

But then again, sounds like Rich Eisen was right when

he said maybe at Wembley they won't know the Dolphins

are the league's worst, cause the real NFL fan couldn't

buy any tickets to the game. I registered to buy tickets

on NFL.UK over a year ago, only to get the message in

April that the 90,000 seats had been sold in 45

minutes. Great job guys, did people (i.e. corporations)

buy them by the hundreds?

Neutral ground, neutral crowd I guess? Let's see how

much noise there'll be on Sunday. I'll be watching.

LET'S GO GIANTS!

ps: I am going to Yankee Stadium next year before they

tear it down, even if I have to buy tickets from a scalper.
