The Missouri Tigers, 6-1, 2-1 in conference, take on the Iowa State Cyclones 1-7, 0-4 in conference play this Saturday in Columbia, Missouri. Missouri has beaten conference opponents by a combined score of 82-16. "The Zou" is becoming a big advantage for the Tigers as they have won 13 out of the last 14 games played there. Mizzou can't overlook the team from Ames though, they hung with a very talented Oklahoma team for three quarters until the Sooners pulled away. Missouri's offense shouldn't have much of a problem if they play like they did against Tech last Saturday, and the D should dominate this game if they played like they did against the Red Raiders, holding them to -9 rushing yards and making four interceptions on Graham Harrell, one of which was returned for a touchdown. I expect the Tigers offense to have a huge day against the vulnerable defense of Iowa State. I also think the defense will play very well against a below average Cyclones offense. The Cyclones will be a pest for about a quarter, maybe less. I'm taking the Tigers in a blowout, Mizzou 52 Iowa State 13....
Predicted Tiger's stats:
Chase Daniel 35/44, 368 yards, 3 TD
Tony Temple 25 carries, 112 yards, 2 TD
