Has there ever been another professional athlete that has commanded so much attention? I am so tired of hearing about Kobe Bryant. Yes, he is one of the greatest players alive, and arguably one of the best all time, but really enough is enough. I am sitting here on a Wed. night and still the news abounds about where Kobe is heading. This is a trade that will completely alter the landscape of the NBA and I just don't care. Its weird. Maybe it has to do with all the news of Kobe and Shaq fighting with each other, or Kobe saying he didn't want Shaq around, or Kobe and Shaq the re-union, or maybe it was the third re-union that some how was scheduled for Christmas day, again, when neither one of their teams were any good. Or could I have gotten sick of all the Kobe coverage during the rape investigation. Or maybe when he was splitting with his wife. Then he drops 81 and we get Kobe time for another two weeks. Kobe wants help for his team. Kobe wants traded. Seriously, I think Kobe just needs attention. He even shut up for awhile while he was playing for Team USA but that couldn't last, now he is betrayed by an organization that stood by him when the rest of America was calling for his head on a platter.
Maybe its not Kobe Bryant, maybe the rest of America is really this fascinated with him. Micheal Vick kills hundreds of dogs and he is a byline. "Kobe Bryant scores 31 points today in the Olympic qualifying tournament and oh yeah Micheal Vick killed 153 dogs. How do you think Kobe will take this tenacity with him back to the Lakers?"
Kobe really I mean no disrespect to you....just disappear for awhile. Stay out of the news. I would actually rather hear about the NHL (they still play right?) now over hearing any more news about you.
Ok I got that rant out of my system. I am gonna go flip on Sportscenter so I can see whats goin on with the Kobe Bryant situation.

It's all business. The media keeps blowing up things about KOBE to get attention. They keep blaming KOBE when it's the Lakers management's fault all along. They have a dumb GM no one wants to deal with, a dumb Jim Bust, a dumber owner Jerry Bust. These 3 guys should stay away from basketball and leave it to the Pros. They should get help for KOBE. Not an overpaid ALL Star but hardnosed, tough, hardworking NBA veterans.
