Ah, a warm October Saturday afternoon and college football, what could be better? This Saturday brings Michigan State to town.
I love the Hawks, but this one could be trouble. As you know our defense is stellar, unfortunately our offense is..........offensive. Injury after injury has left us with a empty shell of a team on this side of the ball. My worry is that with the defense spending so much time on the field we will begin to see injuries there as well. Let's hope not.
Michigan State brings a high powered offense to town. Our offense outscores both Notre Dame and Florida International. That's right people. #117 of 119 D1 schools. Even more depressing. Guess who's #116? Iowa State. Ugggghhhhh. Outscored by Iowa State??
Hey it ain't all bad. #23 in the country in total defense and #14 in the country in scoring defense. That's impressive! If we can get our D to score about 21 pts a game and our offense to continue to get us 15. Then we'd be winning some games! Oh well, nothing we can do about that.
