After watching Denver's first preseason game of the year, and watching Brady Quinn's play, I have something to confess.
Cleveland, I feel your pain.
Granted, it's only preseason, but for the love of God Brady, at least PRETEND you want to play football for a change. You were brought to Denver for a reason, to salvage your faltering NFL career and you can't even do that. The Quinn acquisition was a head-scratcher from the start. Denver traded for him him to light a fire under Orton's ass? Hello, a trade like that isn't even blowing steam. Quite frankly, if I'm Kyle Orton, I'm not even afraid of this guy. All Brady Quinn did was prove to Cleveland fans why he wasn't the guy to lead their franchise and I applaud the Browns for drafting McCoy, the fans deserve better, and they got better.
If this is a preview of what Denver's season is going to look like, someone please empty McDaniels's gun, for he is liable to shoot himself in the foot again.
