Since we were talking about football so much last night and there isn't another race for 2 weeks, I figured I'd see how everyone is liking Preseason.
Farve is making his return, the Steelers are looking for their first string QB while Big Ben is out, and the Jets are loaded so there is a lot taking shape.
I also like pre-season because you know the players are giving 100%. This is the chance for some of those late rounders, undrafted players, and picked up free agents to show what they have and it may be their only shot (unless they give the new UFL a shot).
Are you happy with your team? What's your favorite story line? Any suprises so far?
Pre-season can be boring, it doesn't really show how your team is, just how well their second and third strings are, but it's football!

I was never a Farve fan being a Bear fan but the last years in my eyes have tarnished his reputation.
Retiring and unretiring and re retiring just drives me.
Maybe someone else from NASCAR learnt from him?

Being a Packer fan....looking back, Farve first Retirement in March of 2008 seem more Forced by GM Ted Thompson who drafted Aaron Rodgers.... Then Brett unretired in August 2008, and when told he would be the second string QB ONLY, got traded to the Jets vs Ted just let him go to Whatever team Brett wanted. (Vikings).... In the trade with the Jets, if the Jets flip / traded Brett to the Vikings, then the Jets owe the PACK, 3 first round picks! and it was only 2 first round picks for the Da'Bears, or Loins.
Laugh about Brett being a Bear.....but, remember Jim McMahon was a Packer, won a second Super Bowl ring with the Green Bay in 1996
