Aside from the undefeated teams, we are back on the upset train again. Four of the preseason AP top-10 do not even show up on my rankings. None of the five undefeated teams were in the preseason top-10, including Kansas, who did not even garner a vote. How about that parody in the SEC East?
These rankings are a little more scientific. I devised a simple formula for each team which was (2 X wins X defeated opponent wins) - (losses X defeated by opponent losses). For teams that beat a Division 1-AA team, the win did not count and is not reflected in the record. And, for teams that lost to a 1-AA team, they were credited with a loss to the worst team in D-1.

Last week, I did Bowl Projections, but they are already messed up. This week, for your enjoyment, I have Heisman Projections which are about as wide open as the BCS.
- 1. Matt Ryan - All you need to know about Matt Ryan, you saw in the last three minutes of the Virginia Tech game. He can start looking for an apartment in Miami now.
- 2. Ray Rice - every defense he faces is keying on him, yet he has 1,141 yards and 13 TDs with 0 fumbles.
- 3. Chase Daniels - 2,533 yards and 18 TDs. Best of all, he is at his best in big games.
- 4. Jonathan Stewart - Getting better as the year goes on. 1,043 yards with 9 TDs and a whopping 6.7 yds/rush.
- 5. Dennis Dixon - 1,885 yards passing with 16 TDs and only 3 INT. 492 yards rushing and 8 TDs.
- 6. Percy Harvin - If Superman sleeps in Tim Tebow pajamas, Tebow sleeps in Percy Harvin pajamas. Sorry Gator fans, Percy is the best player on this team. Every time he touches the ball, something amazing happens. He just needs to get it more often. 604 rec yards, 329 rush yards 5 TDs.
- 7. Jordy Nelson - Who? This unheralded WR out of Kansas State has 76 grabs for 1,008 yards and 7 TDs. He is so fast that you might miss him if you blink.
- 8. Tim Tebow - If you think he is good this year, wait until next year when he has a defense that gives him the ball more and a running game to keep opponents off balance. He is gonna be scary good and will think he is playing Western Kentucky every week.
- 9. Brian Brohm - Now that his team has 4 losses we don't get to see Louisville on TV any more. Nevertheless, Brohm has run up 3,229 yards and 26 TDs.
- 10. Mike Hart - He was my #1 until he sat out two games for injury. Still deserves credit for his leadership in turning around an awful start to the season. 1,078 yards, 12 TDs.

You forgot Hawaii. Put Hawaii against Ohio States defense and watch them Buckeyes face the struggle of their lifetime. The NUMBER ONE offense in the entire country against the NUMBER ONE DEFENSE in the country, would be so so with Ohio State in posession, but when Hawaii has the ball, would be great to watch... Not saying Hawaii would win, but i think an 8-0 team who has played four games with an injured quarterback should be in the top 15, but some people out there are too ignorant or maybe proud to acknowledge the great happenings in the Hawaii football program.
We are looking to go undefeated for the first time ever and our first 'deserved' Bowl Game in a long time. And i think, if we make it past Boise and to a bowl game, we will still be undefeated. I look forward to staying in the Top 15 in the polls next year as well with out two great backups Tyler Graunke and Inoke Funaki, both with Colt Brennan potential. All Im saying is why hate? With everything thats gone on this year, why is everyone hating the stable teams? I think the coaches are right ranking us 11, and the BCS giving us 14. Hopefully if we can stay in those rankings, we can start to play good teams, and people will stop talking smack about a weak schedule. There are many good teams out there that turned down a chance to play Hawaii this year, some say for the money, some say they didnt want to lose to an unranked team led by Colt Brennan, I don't blame them, but dont hate on us for the circumstances! We just want to play some good football!

I just realized you put Boise state in the rankings but NOT Hawaii? are you crazy? Boise state is only better than Hawaii at Total Defense, and that is just barely better than us! Everything else we have up on them! Maybe next week dont forget someone?

The combined records of Hawaii's opponents is 17-51. This includes the two I-AA teams they have beaten. Come on, who plays TWO I-AA teams? If Hawaii wants to play bad teams, they will be ranked like a bad team.
If I was to rank the teams on eyeball test rather than my formula, I still wouldn't rank them. I have watched Hawaii in two games this year so far. One was the La Tech game and the other was the San Jose St. game. Wake up and smell the bad football.
Oh and by the way, Hawaii's last four games are against 3 teams with winning records and a pretty decent Washington team. Hawaii will lose at least two of them.

Seriously West Virginia #9? How so you have Michigan and Kansas over WVU. I don't usually pull this one out but who have they played? Michigan lost to App State (Go Mountaineers!!) and to the mirror image of WVU; Oregon both at the Big House. Kansas well they just don't play anyone accept for UM and that is questionable as well.
