The Missouri Tigers, now 7-1, 3-1 in conference play, held off the Iowa State Cyclones, 1-8, 0-5 in Big 12 play Saturday in Columbia, Missouri.  The Tigers started off well with a 14-0 lead but Chase Daniel threw a pick which was returned for a touchdown.  The Tigers brought their C, maybe B game and still won in convincing fashion.  Mizzou opened up the second half with a fumble recovery for a touchdown.  The Cyclones were really never much of a threat after this.  The Mizzou D played much below what they did last week.  They allowed over 100 yards rushing to an awful ISU squad.  They also lost a key player to their D, Pig Brown, for the season with an Achilles injury.  Brown, the redshirt senior, had won multiple Big 12 Player of the Week this season and was a bigtime player for the Tigers defense.  The Tigers offense played decent except for the interception by Chase Daniel.  Missouri never trailed in this one but it was much closer than it should have been.  Give the Cyclones credit for showing up and giving Mizzou a game unlike the Red Raiders and the Huskers.  They just didn't have the firepower to beat the Tigers.

Im voting for Mizzou and Kansas just so their BCS is high and thus helps BCS in computer ratings especially when it comes time for OU to take home another Big 12 title

yeah, i am kind of going for kansas to win out as long as mizzou does so that the Nov. 24 meeting will mean more. And if Mizzou makes it to the title game like I think they will it should be a very good game between them and the Sooners. But it's still early

Do you know why the KU/Mizzou game is at arrowhead instead of the home teams field... was it changed because both are doing so well or do they do this every year? Have a hard time believing arrowhead would fill up in past years with how poor KU was. Just curous

Whenever MU and KU are going to have a big draw for their game with each other, they try to move to a bigger field to accomodate both fans. Kindof screws the home field advantage. A bit like the Red River Shoot-out for OU and UT.

It was supposed to be @KU but they switched it to Arrowhead i guess because they anticipated it would be a big draw...by the way, i am going to that game!!!!! GO TIGERS!!! if you have any ideas about a sign to make fun of kansas hit me up
