Matt Lienart was just cut from the Cardinals 53. Bout damn time.

Lienart has done all of nothing in every oppurtunity he has been given. This pre-season his stats actually don't look bad at all. Thing is he refuses to throw downfield and cannot move the football.

He complains about being treated unfairly? Seriously hes been given chances to start in his rookie season and sophmore year before getting hurt. This season it was absolutley his job to lose and well he lost it. Derek Anderson outperformed Lienart and as reports and analysts have said has also got the lockerooms love. Which is crucial to have good chemistry and sucsess as a team.

Now onto where i think Lienart has a chance to catch on...granted as a back-up if he fails to beat out Derek Anderson for a starting QB position then i don't know where else he could possibly start. It would appear at this point that Lienart who had great expectations will now turn into a career back-up along the lines of a David Carr.

The Kansas City Cheifs could be a possibly destination. Reason's why are simple Matt Cassel is obviously the starter but the second and third stringers aren't looking so great. Brodie Croyle and Tyler Palko are the number 2 and 3 guys in KC. I see no reason why the Cheifs wouldn't consider picking up Lienart in case somthing happens to Cassel. If im in the Chiefs position i would rather have Lienart maning the offense than Brodie Croyle and definetaly ahead of Tyler Palko who has thrown 3 picks this pre-season.

The Atlanta Falcons- Once again the Falcons could use an upgrade at back-up QB there number 2 and 3 guys are veteran Chris Redmond and John Parker Wilson. Lienart is better than both of those two and if the Falcons were able to get Lienart at a reasonable price i see no reason why he could not land in Atlanta.

The New York Giants- The Giants are another team that could be in the market for a number 2 guy. Rhett Bomar is currently the number 2 guy followed by Jim Sorgi. Im sure the Giants will take a look at possibly accuiring Lienart.

Just a few teams that i think Matt Lienart could find a job with. I'm sure they're more out there and he will find a team sooner or later.

Quick hits

Victor Cruz is a stud

Danny Woodhead should be the number 3 back with the Jets

Joe McKnight is a joke

Hope Myron Rolle finds a team
