Every time i look at this list I am smacked in the face by something. Anybody else notice?

THERE IS ONLY 1 OFFENSIVE LINEMAN ON HERE.......A 3 STAR AT THAT (NOT TO MENTION HE JUST COMMITTED).

i know we always hit em hard late, but it seems like offensive lineman has been the biggest need for the past several years, but it doesnt seem to high on their priority list. The fact of the matter may very well be that the stud OL want to go to schools who have legit running games. dunno

A lot of the top OL are going elsewhere, but don't let that fool you. Trickett doesn't care where you're rated. He basically takes guys on their frame and their ability to be molded. Trickett does not like his lineman to be over 300 lbs. We're still in it for some good lineman who have yet to commit anywhere.

Thanks for the update! We have a pretty stout class coming in so far.

FSU has been using that approach for 7 years now and it hasn't seemed to work out very well. we need guys who can already play on the line, not guys he can "mold".

they signed a kid from the high school my brother coached at in seminole county, FL named Zachary Hilton. He had never played OL in his life and was terrible on the defensive line. The coaches said he would be a first round draft pick at left tackle. He has yet to see the field because he can't get eligible grade wise, and probably wouldnt ever see the field anyway.

For some reason though, I'm really not worried about the OL. Trickett always does a great job getting the guys he wants and the guys he thinks and knows can play the position and learn the zone blocking scheme well.
