I feel that the Dolphins will be the true winners of this draft. Although so called experts might think it was foolish to pass on Brady Quinn, if you really examine the facts its simple why they did.
To select Brady Quinn 9th in the draft would have meant signing to a 40 to 50 million dollar contract, look at Matt Leinart last year. What the Dolphins saw was an overrated quaterback who hadn't separated himself from other quarterbacks available in the second round. Having a high first round quaterback flop is an absolute team killer because of the money invested in him, look at the Texans and the Lions. Even if the team chose Quinn a receiver of Ginn's speed and quality would not have been available in the second round.
We can all speculate about if John Beck or Brady Quinn will be more successful, but if there is even an argument, a team shouldn't tie up so much money in a quarterback.
I give the Dolphins credit for having the stones to go against popular opinion

I don't think Brady Quinn is overrated, he just fell that far because teams realized they had bigger needs to fill than at quarterback. Ted Ginn Jr. could be a huge playmaker for the Dolphins, once he's 100% healthy. He was faster than everybody in college, and it'll probably stay that way in the NFL. I was surprised Miami picked him too, since they only had Daunte Culpepper and Cleo Lemon at quarterback, both of which are probably not the future of thier team. They could have used a guy like Quinn, but picking up John Beck was a good find for them, I think he'll be a good quarterback in this league.
