The trade is
Donald Driver and Brett Favre for the other guy's
Roy Williams and Phillip River
This statement sort of throws the whole trade off, "Now, I don't really need Favre as my backup because I have Tony Romo, and Rivers is a pretty good backup. I thought Driver would have produced more throughout the year, but he hasn't with defenses often double teaming him, sort of similar in a way to Roy Williams, who I think might be a better fantasy player at this point. "
It is Williams for Driver straight up since Romo already had his bye.
I got to say go for it. Dont get me wrong, they have both been pretty big disappointments this year, but I think the rest of the season looks a lot brighter for Roy. Favre is already playing extremly well and the fact that Driver doesnt have the numbers to show that means he is basically at the pinacle of this year. It seems slowly Greg Jennings and James Jones are taking over the receiving game as a whole along with Donald Lee. With Roy Williams, it is mainly the fact of the matter that Kitna hasnt been performing too well. Its not like Calvin Johnson and Mike Furrey are playing out of their minds right now and Roy Williams is starting to deplet in the passing game. It is just the face that the Lions havent been able to get it going, but when they do, you can look for ROy Williams to have some pretty explosive numbers.
