I'm a Jets fan so I'm always partial to the Jets. All the talk of them being the team to beat is true and false. I think that right now they are a team, but come January, they will be the team to beat. Thats what counts. How you build when the playoffs roll around.

I saw possibly the worst game off football I have ever seen, and I am still confident in my team. Heres why:

The Ravens ran the ball for less than 2 yards per carry, LT by himself ran for 5.5 per carry. The Jets forgot they were a successful running team and instead turned to gadget plays and reverses. They should have run LT 15-20 times and Shonn Greene at least 15 times. The strength still is running, and they turned from it like a fat kid from healthy food.

How many games can a team have 14 penalties, fumble by someone's ass knocking the ball loose, and only lose by a point when the TE jogs out of bounds? I think the Jets playing by midseason will be better than Just about anyone. Theres about 10 new faces that just need some time to settle down.

Last but not least. I'm not gonna worry about the passing game. Lets not forget that they played Monday night football with 3 active WR's. Thats Edwards, Cotch, and B.Smith running routes for the entire game. Lavernues Coles will be back this week giving them 4, and Santonio Holmes will be back in 3 weeks giving them 5 WR's.  So if you want to crap on Mark Sanchez, wait unil week 12 when he's running play action passes to 4 or 5 different guys, and Braylon Edwards isn't double covered.

Shots down the field. Sanchez took 2. One was missed by about a yard to Cotchery. The other was compleated for 34 yards to Dustin Keller. The play was called back. If your good at math thats 50% on deep throws. Run the ball more in the future and move that up to 5 or 6 shots a game.  Even if you've hit on 3, your talking about half of the field.
