Fellow TD'ers, Moderators, and Distinguished guests.
Many times I have come on to this site for the purpose of sports entertainment. More than half the time I end up seeing garbage TD's that make absolutely no sense what so ever. I see TD's not being argued to the best of their ability. I see comments that to be honest make me cringe sometimes.
I recently read a blog the other day from Cowboy Dave. I applaud this blog because Dave was short, sweet, and straight to the point. Dave was right on when he said that the moderators need to be more aware of duplicate accounts. Dave pointed out that a TD with two forfeited turns ended up with 19 votes. Though that person did not win the TD. There was something definately wrong with this picture. Action must be taken against these violators, and action must be taken now. It's time that we unite together and bring back the credibility to Fan Nation. No more of these garbage TD's. No more of these wise cracks that create Mass TD's only to forfeit their turns and make weak arguments.
More recently, I have seen many people claiming to be TD Wh0res. Or at the very least acting like it. That being said, as Governor. I declare that djroxalot is the one and only TRUE Fan Nation Wh0re. Like him or not, DJ has over 1500 legit TD's under his belt. No matter what the score is he will always put up a good argument and will even go outside his compfort zone once in awhile. On any given day you will find at least two or three TD's by DJ when you log on to this site.
There are others on this sight such as Yoda, Chosen1, Porkins, Rudedog, and many others that almost always create a solid argument. I apologize if your name was not mentioned. But you know who you are if you are a TRUE Fan Nation member.
Furthermore, something must be done about the stupid advertising that goes on in many TD's. Though I know the moderators are pretty good about getting these deleted. It is still annoying and needs to be stopped. Let's all come together as a united front and take back Fan Nation. As stated before, we must restore the Nation to what it once was.
In closing, Fan Nation is a place where everyone of all ages should be welcome. We must understand that everyone is entitled to thier opinion. We need not to neccessarily agree with them, but respect thier opinion. We must not make fun of ones disability for being retarded. My thanks go out to those members of te Nation that always take thier time and take thier TD's seriously. It is you that can help make this site rise back to the standard of excellence.

Tournaments are definitely a great way to promote quality throwdowns. I remember half a year back when the site was on a decline, when you and Ogre cranked out a monster tournament. It definitely made a prolonged impact, and spawned several more tournaments.

I've been starting to think that possibly 8 TDer mini-tournaments are the way to go. I believe they should be easier to organize and less likely to burn out.

So let me get this straight.
A guy has the time to start a TD or make the first rebuttle argument. Create 19 dupes and sign on and vote with each one. Then does not post the next two arguments? What a waste of time. It would take less time to just make the other arguments, because most people auto vote against that, so it was not the most efficent use of his/her time. Just sayn'
