Baylor
Review: Got beat down by K-State, needed to play better defense if they wanted a shot at this one
Preview: They play Texas Tech but it is a home game. If the Bears D shows up, they have a shot but if Harrell gets back on track, the Bears don't have a shot.
Colorado
Review: Beat a good Texas Tech team in Lubbock and got 4 picks off of Graham Harrell. The offense also played well with 31 points in a big win for the Buffs.
Preview: The Buffaloes get a home game against ninth-ranked Mizzou. If their D can come up with the turnovers for the second straight week, give them the win but it won't be easy to force turnovers on Chase Daniel.
Iowa State
Review: The Cyclones hung with a really good Missouri team but couldn't pull of an upset as Mizzou pulled away. The defense kept them in it with an interception return for touchdown.
Preview: ISU has a homa game against K-State this Saturday. They hung with Oklahoma in Ames so why can't they beat K-State??? Stop Josh Freeman and Jordy Nelson and get the offense going if you want to win this one.
Kansas
Review: Won at College Station against the Texas A&M Aggies. The Aggies showed no heart at all. The Jayhawks couldn't capatalize on good oppurtunities with multiple missed field goals but they got the win and that's all that matters.
Preview: Hawks get Nebraska in Lawrence this week. The Jayhawks need to get the running game going which shouldn't be too tough against this dismal Nebraska running D. They also need to stop a dual threat QB in Nebraska's new QB Ganz.
Kansas State
Review: Beat Baylor which gave the Cats a confidence boost. It was close for a while but K-State showed it was the superior team in the end.
Preview: Kansas State has to go to Ames, Iowa to take on the Cyclones of ISU. Iowa St. almost beat Oklahoma here so the Cats can't underestimate their 1-8 opponent, the record is misleading...
Missouri
Review: Brought their C game and still beat Iowa State comfortably. Defense didn't play too well and lost Pig Brown, probably their best defensive player.
Preview: The Tigers go to Boulder, Colorado to play the Buffs where they haven't won for a decade. The D needs to prove that they can move on after the loss of Brown and the offense needs to keep rolling to beat this tough CU team.
Nebraska
Review: The Huskers dominated 3 quarters at Texas but couldn't hold on and gave up 200+ rushing yards--in the fourth quarter. They lost starting QB Sam Keller for the year and Ganz will start in his place.
Preview: Ganz is a dual threat quarterback and could be a problem for the KU defense. Nebraska has to play four quarter of good football, not just 3...
Oklahoma
Review: Bye Week
Preview: The Sooners come off the bye week and get a heartless and poorly coached A&M team in Norman, Oklahoma. I can already hear the fat lady singing. As long as Bradford has an OK game and the D plays OK the Sooners should roll.
Oklahoma State
Review: Bye week
Preview: Okie St. takes on the Longhorns in Stillwater, OK this weekend. If they keep the momentum they have had they should be able to beat a shaky Texas team.
Texas
Review: Pulled out a win against a Huskers team that is falling apart. They should thank the O-Line and Jamaal Charles for the great rushing attack in the fourth quarter for this win.
Preview: The Horns have to go to Oklahoma State and take on the Cowboys. This could be a long day for the Horns if their running game doesn't do great. Their D could also have a tough time with the Okie St. offense.
Texas A&M
Review: The Aggies played poorly but hung with the Jayhawks of Kansas. They couldn't get J-Lane going and didn't get him the ball enough which hurt them alot.
Preview: Texas A&M goes to Oklahoma to take on the Sooners in an extremely tough game. If they can stop Bradford and get the running game and the J-Train, Javorskie Lane, going they have a slim chance.
Texas Tech
Review: Lost by 5 at home to Colorado. Graham Harrell threw four picks for the second straight week so he can kiss the Heisman talk goodbye. They had a shot but the turnovers killed them.
Preview: The Red Raiders go to Waco to take on the Baylor Bears. The Raider D could have trouble with this Baylor offense, but if they can stop that, they should be able to win by at least 2 touchdowns.
Predictions:
TTU@BU-Texas Tech 34 Baylor 17--The Bears offense can't do enough and the defense can't stop the TTU attack.
Missouri@Colorado-Missouri 41 Colorado 27--The Mizzou offense is just too much for the Buffs to handle in the end. Close for three quarters till Mizzou pulls away.
KSU@ISU-Kansas State 24 Iowa State 14--K-State never trails but can't pull away in this win in Ames.
NU@KU-Nebraska 10 Kansas 17--The KU defense stops the Huskers for the most part but the Huskers can't stop the Jayhawk rushing attack.
TAM@OU-Texas A&M 7 Oklahoma 38--The Sooners dominate at home and stuff the A&M running attack.
UT@OSU-Texas 34 Oklahoma State 40--The Horns come up short in Stillwater as the Cowboys keep gaining momentum.
