Big games this week, no question. It's getting to the part of the season where we can start making sense of things.

Alabama/Florida   If Florida can force the Crimson Tide to throw the ball they may get some turnovers and win this game. Apparently they're going to stack the box to stop Ingram and co. to force McElroy to pass. Trouble is... McElroy is no slouch. Alabama should have their way with the Gators this week run or pass. Florida's offense is too unpredictable. Tide by 10.

Stanford/Oregon   Oregon finally played an opponent that can hurt you last week v.s. Arizona State. Thy won in (kind of) a shootout. This week they're at home and face the upstart Cardinal. Stanford should be able to move the ball against the Ducks but Oregons run game should prove to be too much in this one. Stanford has a good defense but stopping the run hasn't been their specialty so far.  LaMichael James is one of the better RBs in the nation, even getting some Heisman talk, he should be able to break free for some good yardage at home. Oregon by 7

Oklahoma/Texas   Oklahoma has been letting teams come back and make some games closer than they would have liked. Texas got blown out at home last week against UCLA. Was Texas looking ahead? Maybe. The Horns have had a hard time running the ball and that could hurt them. Oklahoma did well against Florida State when they turned it into the Christian Ponder show. If they can make Gilbert carry too much of the load they'll probably get some ints and be able to run Murray into the win column. I'm not sold on the Sooners but if there's a game that can boost their confidence this is it. Oklahoma by 4.

Elsewhere: Look for Iowa's defense to confound Penn State freshman QB Robert Bolden and win by 10. Home team Clemson should beat Miami  when Harris starts throwing interceptions. Finally, Wisconsin recruits better players than Michigan State these days, look for them to wear down the Spartans and take control late.

Enjoy the games, Bones out.

Well done, but it is week 5. I like the Cardinal in a close one. The rest I pretty much agree with.

Thanks for the heads up, guess I just couldn't let week 4 go...
