Steroids are good for you. Doctors subscribe them and for that matter most drugs are good for you. Good for me. Good for you.
All sports athletes are taking some sort of chemicals to enhance performance. That is the way of the world and like it or not they are here to stay.
High school players taking steroids is okay with me for they will get better and perhaps make some big dollars. They should be allowed to dope up and get better at their sports. Does not work all the time, but you will not know until you try them. Prescribed, of course, for I am not advising anyone to take unprescribed drugs here on Sports Illustrated Fan Nation. Chances are your doctor will prescibe you the drugs that you request. A fact of life. Doctor and patient privledge.
It is not fair that an athlete....say like Arod, who is likely to earn some $30 million dollars a season for 10 years...IF he is taking some steroids or HGH then the athletes following should be allowed the opportunity to make that type of money also, so therefore a reason to take steroids.
But remember Lyle Alzado, whose body was ravaged by his admitted steroids usage and subsequent relative ailments that were part of his life and part of genes basically. Alot of young people may not even know of his story, but they should and quite frankly I wonder why Sports Illustrated does not do a public service to point out the bad side of steroids and HGH.
Steroids does not mean cheating, it means supplementing and there is a difference. For many years athletes have been consuming supplements and most likely some of them were steroids.
