Tonight's game is the final exhibition for the Wildcats, as the Division 2 Redhawks of Seattle University come in to Rupp to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the meeting between the two teams in the 1958 NCAA tournament finals.  UK came out of Louisville with the win.  That team, the Fiddlin Five is one of UK's most beloved teams. However, the player with the most professional success would have been the tournaments most Outstanding Player, Elgin Baylor, who went on to have a storied career with Lakers (than based out of Minnesota.)

Halftime will see the teams from that age celebrated.  All American Vernon Hatten is in attendence for the ceremony, so the halftime show should be a treat!

The game in itself has been mired with sloppy ball play on Kentucky's part in my opinion.  In the first four minutes of play, UK had five turnovers.

Of course the defense has been stifling.  Seattle has hit three field goals, and has went ten minutes without making a field goal.

With 524 left in the half, UK is up 30 to 10.   Kentucky is on a massive run outscorring Seattle 29 to 5.

Patterson made the start tonight after leading the team in rebounds against Pikeville.

Finally here is a copy of the box score from the last exhibition game against Pikeville College (Just for UK though)
