Week 5 Picks
(Sneak Preview, rest of picks on tailgateadvice.com)
Jacksonville Jaguars (2-2) at Buffalo Bills (0-4)
Line: Jaguars by 1. Total: 41.
The Buffalo Bill may not win a game this year. If they can pull off a victory one of there best chances will be at home against the Jaguars. The Jaguars are not very good despite the win over the Colts. Saying that the Bills will not be able to stop MJD. Fred Jackson will not be able to run against the Jags D. The Jags will win an ugly game. Jaguars 17 over Bills 9
Tampa Bay Buccaneers (2-1) at Cincinnati Bengals (2-2)
Line: Bengals by 6.5. Total: 38.
Neither team is very good in this match up. When you have 2 bad teams usually you bet on the home team. There are certain deviations to this rule of thumb, but not this time. I am going with Batman and Robin at home. Bengals 23 over Buccaneers 20
Atlanta Falcons (3-1) at Cleveland Browns (1-3)
Line: Falcons by 3. Total: 40.5.
The Falcons owe Nate Clements a beer for him ensuring the Falcons won late in the fourth quarter last week. The Falcons could not get anything going against the 49er Defense. Look for Atlanta to have a bounce back week against the Browns. The bright spot for the Browns is the BEAST Peyton Hillis! Hillis will run for 100 yards and have a TD, but it will not be enough to overcome the picks thrown by Wallace and the TDs caught by Roddy "Roddy" White! Falcons 29 over Browns 17
St. Louis Rams (2-2) at Detroit Lions (0-4)
Line: Lions by 3. Total: 42.5.
The Lions win! Detroit is not accustomed to winning, they wear win repellant on their blue uniforms. The Rams are not a used to winning much either, that is why I do not see the Rams reeling of another Victory this week. The Rams will win a few more this year, but not this week, it is just too soon! Bradford will throw a couple of TDs to Clayton, and Jackson will run for a buck fifty, but the Lions will squeak out a win with a late touchdown to Megatron! Lions 31 over Rams 29
Kansas City Chiefs (3-0) at Indianapolis Colts (2-2)
Line: Colts by 8.5. Total: 44.5.
The Chiefs run ends in Indy. The Chiefs have won a few close games, I give them credit for starting off the season nicely, but give me a break. Mark my words the Chiefs will not go into Indianapolis and win. If Todd Haley pulls his head out of his **** and gives the ball to Jamal Charles the game will be closer than most expect. Ultimately the Manning/Clark combo will be too much for the over hyped Chiefs. Colts 37 over Chiefs 22
