What is up with the Start and Parks?

Yesterday, Blaney and Kvapil (teammates) pulled behind the wall together, were announced by ESPN as the first ones off the track, and ended up back on track very soon and actually finished well, considering.

Nemachek was in and out at least once if not twice?

Is NASCAR cracking down on these teams?  Its been apparent that they can come to the track without even a full pit crew to support the car, start and park and make some money, save the car with only a minor refresh for the next race, limited expense.

Or as some suggested, is there a conspiracy here of some kind, where their pit selections and other factors can actually subtley affect the chase racers?

I was wondering that myself. At one point I noticed the S & P crowd were all listed as being off. Then it looked like at least some of them came back. I don't know what NASCAR could do, other than require a minimum number of laps before they are allowed to receive any money or points.

There are a couple drivers out there who are actually benefiting from the S & Ps. If they had to compete against them for the whole race it might be pretty embarrassing.

yeah. really!

Benefitting? I am not sure who actually pockets the purse, but look at Blaney's earnings year to date! Blaney $1.7M, Kvapil $2.7M

Thats pretty good money for what is a part time job, essentially. I don't see these two as being on the road all week long making a brutal schedule of personal appearances, and most sunday's are typicallly a "short day at the office"

Maybe Kvapil and Blaney were confused, after all, they did just switch Crew Chiefs this past week (why?)

I know the SandPs do play chicken with each other because they do need to collect points as well so they would have the 1 or 2 spots guaranteed at the start of next year of being in the top 35.
Other than that I do not know and your guess is just as good as they rest of us.
Another reason that hair is over rated. Can not grab hair when frustration hits all time highs

I'm surprised Kvapil is a S&P. He has a respectable truck career doesn't he?

Unless you have a owner with some bucks and sponsors does not matter how good of a driver you are

Allow me my prejudices: Go Bowtie!

I was thinking about the drivers like Junior who are actually trying, but can't seem to get above 25th place. If they had to compete against some S&P teams, I'm wondering if they might actually finish lower. Just a thought.

Not whining at all.. original question is what is causing them to mysteriously, after Parking, come back on track.. that is new.

I wasn't bashing Junior, I was just stating a fact.
