Or, Is there nothing wrong at all? It seems the goaltending could be a factor, especially after the 3-2 loss to Montreal where Marc-Andre Fleury gave up two late tying and lead taking goals which would ultimately be the deciding factors of the game.

You can point at Sidney Crosby, who has not scored one goal yet through three games and has only aquired 1 point. Still, this should not hold back the Penguins from winning any of the 3 games they've played so far.

It seems they have just lost tempo, and possibly another source of rythm when on the offensive. It has been said that the Penguins need to create more shots stemming from the middle of the ice. And in a sense, I agree...

Point is: The Penguins have made some great pick-ups this offseason, particularly in FA.

They have a core group, and with a couple of breaks, will turn into the Pens we expected before the reg. season began...

QUOTE(#1):

Damn, lost again. They usually start slow but wouldn't it be nice to get home ice this year? The Caps will be tougher as well as the Flyers.

I agree, both teams look pretty formidable, and especially Philly, they definetly look like the SCF runner-ups...
