Week 6 Start Em'
Start of the Week: Peyton Manning vs. Washington: I had to think less about this selection than deciding on who is more attractive; Eva Mendes or Betty White? Seriously, even coming off a somewhat lackluster performance against the Chiefs (spoiler alert, they're pretty good) the stars have aligned for Forehead The Great to drop a serious beating on the Redskins. He's got Pierre Garcon back (like he needs any more weapons) and the Redskins give up more yards than almost any team in football through the air.

Start of the Week:Rashard Mendenhall vs. Cleveland: Big Ben returns and Mendy owners must take notice. In the words of TOcho, "You ain't seen nothing yet," regarding Mendy's production. Ben now forces the defense to play the outside of the pocket which should spread out the defensive front in order to keep the Steelers' mauling tackles off linebackers which should equate to larger holes up the middle for Rashard to spin his way to a huge game. Ow and Cleveland stinks. They gave up 100 yards to both Jet runningbacks and over 140 to Michael Turner in recent memory. Expect Turner-esque yardage and 1-2 touchdowns.

Start of the Week: Hakeem Nicks vs. Detroit: I didn't buy the Hakeem Nicks hype in the preseason but his performance thus far has made me a believer. This week he gets to go up against the Lions which is just plain fantasy gold for all parties involved as the developing Detroit defense is still not strong in any facet of the game, yet. Nicks should easily equal last week's point totals and possibly 1-2 touchdowns.

Start of the Week:Vernon Davis vs. Oakland: The Niners are in desperation mode and need their best players to step forward. Davis is without hesitation one of if not the best player on the 49???ers roster and the Raiders are allowing tight ends to roll. Last week Davis rewarded loyal owners who stuck with him early in the season and it looks like he's in line to produce equal if not greater production this week.
Week 6 Sit Em'
Sit of the Week: Brett Favre vs. Dallas: The only team more desperate for a win than the Niners are the Vikings and the Cowboys. Favre was visibly in pain and well off on more than a few throws last week. Who knew sexting caused tendonitis in the elbow? Alright that was a cheap shot, sorry. I like the Cowboys in this matchup and think that whatever happens to Favre in the coming weeks will spell a drop in his production. I'd go with another option this week and into the future because tendanitis in week six is bad enough for a quarterback not to mention a 40 year old quarterback.
Sit of the Week: Felix Jones vs. Minnesota: Yes he had a breakout game last wee. Yes the pressure to balance the attack is tremendous in Big D. And I believe the Cowboys do indeed commit to the run and incorporate Marion Barber and possibly Tashard Choice into the lineup. The homerun ball carrier continues to be Felix the Cat however he may not get enough touches (15 or more) to break one or more open for a big score. This just smells of quagmire to me.

Sit of the Week: Mike Sims-Walker vs. Tennessee: So much for a breakout year. Sims-Walker has been passed by Thomas and plays on a team with a bad fantasy quarterback and a run first offense. This game is likely to go the way of Week 1's Jets vs. Ravens slugfest which is more than likely to be fought on the ground and won with field goals. If you're still holding out hope that hyphen boy will step up you might want to scour the waiver wire for better options.
Sit of the Week: Marcedes Lewis vs. Tennessee: Alright back in the box, you go! He had his second flash in the pan that will tease TE deficient owners into grabbing him and starting him. Listen, when it comes to Marcedes Lewis let me give you some wisdom from my single days of yore, "Sometimes that girl at the bar chatting you up just wants someone to pay for a drink." For the central Ohioans among my readership that means just because it looks good and your tactics worked in the past doesn't mean this is a sure thing.
