So this is where this occasional feature comes in. Every so often, I'll let you the readers chime in with their greatest (or worst) experiences with those last-second fantasy football wins and losses.
In the past few weeks, I've definitely seen some instances where games were won and lost by those last-minute yards. For instance, those in point-per-reception leagues had to be on the edge of their seats when Brian Westbrook caught just about every Donovan McNabb dumpoff pass in last night's Eagles-Cowboys game. What looked to be a respectable fantasy performance by Westbrook ended up being a huge outing similar to those put up by Drew Brees, Jamal Lewis and Joseph Addai.
I can tell you from my own personal experience that in the Jets-Bengals game a few weeks ago, I wrapped up a close victory when Chad Pennington completed what was a rather meaningless Hail Mary TD to Jerricho Cotchery to end the game and added a 2-point conversion pass to put a bow on a victory.
And while it's definitely not a meaningless situation, how many of you won or lost a game with Brett Favre's overtime bomb last Monday night against the Broncos?
There are definitely plenty of situations where one seemingly innocuous play late in a game changed your fantasy fortunes. So go right ahead and tell us your "Great Moments in Fantasy Football History."
