So I have been MIA lately, mainly due to my preparation for the MPRE....let us pray!  Anywho, I didn't get a chance to review the game this past week...so my reflections could be off... but this is what I can assume.

 I knew Tampa Bay would present a slight challege, after our Card's crumble in Washington..it was evident that we weren't prepared to beat a Cover 2 defense.  Washington ran cover 2 and CLEARLY Tampa Bay (who started this defensive scheme) was going to run it as well...our pass game was pretty limited.  Fitzgerald (sorry Larryfan) was the biggest disappointment.  As Shannon Sharp put it "that boy must have Vertigo"  WHY, oh WHY did he run out of bounds on the easy TD?  Kurt completely dropped the ball (literally,) but maybe we can blame this on Tampa's defense (Kurt had no one available to turn to,) but since I didn't actually see the game i cannot be certain, all I know is 10 completions out of 30 attempts is downright disgusting....maybe Rat boy should have taken over.

I have serious issues with AZ's defense.  They are one inconsisent group of individuals....one day they shut down powerhouse offenses such as Shitsburg but then the crumble under subpar teams such as Carolina and Tampa Bay...something is WRONG! 

I fear that this season is going downhill for our boys...I hate to say it but this just might not be our year after all.  I think we need one more shot at the draft, pick up some additional defensive help...maybe a good defensive back and on offense, a better tight end.  Also, Matt Leinart needs to STEP up and develop both as a player and as a man this off season....I would suggest more MANDATORY OTAS (I think we need some team building) and a longer more structured mini camp...AZ really needs some more discipline...they make dumb mistakes and there is no accountability....can we borrow Mike Tomlin?  As much as it pains me to say this...but we also need to restructure some contracts and pay Boldin what he deserves...if he leaves the desert or even gets unhappy....AZ would suffer CONSIDERABLY!

On a positive note, we play the Lions at home...and there is no reason we shouldn't get the W, we have the home field advantage and the only thing that could possibly get in the way is OURSELVES!   Secondly, Ciny is crumbling...so we should also fare well against their struggling defense...as for Cleveland and N.O....well we can pray!  The other teams really shouldn't be an issues...they are conference foes and we have already played each of them...so we should rap Seattle, San Fran, and St. Louis up!
