The St. Louis Cardinals are sitting at home along with their coach Tony LaRussa while the San Francisco Giants are going to the world series.
Could the controversy over Mr. Pujols appearance at a rally by conservative talking head Glenn Beck have anything to do with the Cardinals not making it to the world series?
Did the Albert Pujols and Tony LaRusa appearance distract the rest of the team during a very crucial championship run?
Are those fair questions ?
Hey, probably not but you must agree those questions sounds "Beckerish"
Can we agree on that ?
Listen to Beck's shows and you will understand what I mean by "Beckerish"
Glenn Beck loves to mix things up, so any questions in the "world according to Beck" genre has merit and should be asked.
In the spirit of "Beckerish world" here are a few questions:
Who has benefited most from the appearance at the Beck rally , Glenn Beck, Tony La Russa or Albert Pujols?
Who has gotten the most benefit in building their image at the rally, Glenn Beck, Tony La Russa or Albert Pujols?
And here is my answer to both questions: Glenn Beck and Tony LaRussa .
Let me tell you why , Glenn Beck can say that a big time Latino baseball player was at his rally and Tony LaRussa can be with the folks he supported when "the team" went to play the Arizona diamondbacks, of course I'm talking about the Tea Party.
What did Albert Pujols gained with this appearance , in my opinion, nothing!
We already knew Albert is a great humanitarian. Mr Pujols is a great family man and the pride of not only the Latino community but all baseball fans.
He is what an athlete should be. That I'm sure we can agree on no matter what side of this issue your on.
This appearance was a mistake and was of no benefit to Albert Pujols. Period, end of story.
As always this is just a fans opinion and from what I understand everybody has one and I thank God for that.
