Uc Irvine has hired a new pitching coach and his name is Ted Silva. He spent the 2007 season with the Fresno State program where he developed the team to the second lowest ERA in the conference. The year before Fresno State, He spent the season with the Cal-State Fullerton program where he led the team to a nation best ERA. This looks like a good pickup for UC Irvine.
