It was time for Jeff Gordon to wake up and show some true emotion rather than his usual quote "I'm so mad" I guess better late than never.
Just in case you didn't get a chance to see it, Jeff Burton ran over the No. 24 car and slammed him into the wall, that was fallowed by a trackside fight, Gordon and Burton traded a few punches as NASCAR official were trying to separate them.
Number 24 had every right to get mad, I don't care how many times Mr. Burton apologizes or takes responsibility.
Perception is everything in sports and in this case you would of have to be blind not to see Jeff Burton intentionally punted Jeff Gordon into the wall.
Period, number 31 was mad and reacted by hitting No. 24 during a caution. At least that was my perception.
Was that yours?
I think both drivers are just showing signs of frustration, they both had expectations of winning a championship this season and that obviously is not going to happen.
On to Phoenix.
As always just a fans opinion and from what I understand everybody has one and I thank God for that.
Enough said.
