Boy I tell ya, its hard being an Arizona Cardinals fan. What a dissapointment it was in Tampa. This base offense flat out sucks. SUCKS! Everyone was down on Leinart when he ran the base offense, but lo and behold! Even Kurt Warner sucks with the base offense! What Coach Whisenhunt is trying to do is establish the successful formula from Pittsburgh. Thats very good and all except the Cardinals dont have the personell to run that type of offense. We dont have a bruising smashmouth running back. We dont have a dominant o-line. What we do have is a personell foor using the West Coast system. We are a passing team. Pass the freaking ball! Now I know, passing the ball certainly has not helped us all the other years. And I agree we have to establish the running game. But I believe we will be far more successful doing that if we go at it with the No Huddle from the start. Keep the opponents base defense out there and we can massacre them with the pass or the run. Its all about keeping a defense's certain package out there so they cannot counter the skill players we have on offense. 

Also, trying running outside the tackles a couple of times! Edge is NOT a North-South runner. He is a cut-back runner and a damn good one at that. We need a zone blocking scheme. Once Edge makes his cuts and finds the holes he will descimate you each and every time. Dont run him up the gut for a 1 yard gain! Also, Edge is good in the flat! Dump that ball out to him in the flat! JJ too! JJ may suck as a runningback but dump that ball off to him in the flat and that boy has the speed to make big gains! 

We need quick scores so we dont have to abandon the run later on in the game and make our base offense even more predictable. Run up that score in the first half so we can dominate TOP in the second half. And the defense sure has a lot of trouble stopping no-name running backs. Whats up with that! You can stop Alexander, Parker, Gore, McGahee, but you cant stop some no name backs from St Louis, Carolina, and Tampa??

As for the upcoming game against the Lions. I just have a feeling that we are going to come out flat this game like we did against the Bucs. Kitna is gunna have fun tearing up our secondary. We are gunna run the base offense from the start and fall behind very early. The defense will try to keep us in the game, and then the No Huddle will come into play but it will be too late. I hope I am very wrong, but thats the feeling im getting. We lose this one, then the season is over. No way we go 3-6 and then try to win 7 in a row to make the playoffs. This is a MUST win.

My keys to winning the game: Run the No Huddle offense from the start! Run up the score in the first half! Establish the run through the No Huddle! Dominate time of possession in the second half! Defense needs to force Lions offense to go 3 and out very often! So basically, dont play like we played against Tampa! GO CARDS!!!!!!!!
