After a great day 3, in which I went 8-2, my overall record is now brought to above .500 at 12-11. Pretty proud of myself for pulling off a big day like this to get my record back up to where I want it.
Here are my November 12th picks:
Edmonton Oilers vs New Jersey Devils
Slow start to the season for the Devils, and playing without Zach Parise sure won't help. I think the Devils will come away with this win as they begin to heat up.
Final Score: Devils win 3-2
Tampa Bay Lightning vs Pittsburgh Penguins
Lightning coming off a tough loss vs the Caps. I think they're legs will be a bit flimsy and playing on the road in Pittsburgh won't help.
Final Score: Penguins win 5-3
Colorado Avalanche vs Columbus Blue Jackets
Avalanche will get strong goaltending from Anderson in this game. The Avs have started off a bit slow, but a young, talented team like this with a good goalie is too good to continue losing.
Final Score: Avalanche win 3-1
Minnesota Wild vs Florida Panthers
Wild have gotten some great play from captain Mikko Koivu so far this season. A decent start for the Wild has been somewhat of a surprise, and I see them taking this game in Florida vs a mediocre squad.
Final Score: Wild win 4-3
Calgary Flames vs Phoenix Coyotes
The Yotes have started off slow. Losing team captain Shane Doan for this game won't help, but I feel like the Coyotes are due for a win.
Final Score: Coyotes win 2-1
Dallas Stars vs Anaheim Ducks
Two great division rivals clash here. Stars have been slumping of late while the Ducks have soared. I see both those things ending in this game. Hiller will have a rough night.
Final Score: Stars win 3-2
There it is guys, my day 4 picks. I'll hope to stay above .500.
